Germany is a key market to APX10 and to strengthen our market presence and as a vital driver for a growing team in Germany, we are looking for you to join us immediately as a full-time Sales Manager who will actively drive our market expansion.

Scaling APX10 in Germany
APX10 has since 2023 operated in Germany with an established and growing client base. Our outlook is a continuously growing German user base with the ambition to maintain a leadership position in advanced software for utilities. The APX® software platform is already adapted to the German market, and meets client and market requirements, why market scale and new product introductions on a national level are next.
Work Environment / Team
Our corporate language is English since we as a lean team support each other across all markets. Though in the German market German is obviously the primary language, and from day one, you will be an integrated part of “Team Germany” with German speaking colleagues. German skills are considered a fundamental requirement for this position. We also expect you to be fluent in spoken and written English.

Job Overview
As a Sales Manager at APX10, you will be directly responsible for selling our software solutions to cities, municipalities, utilities, associations, and other potential clients in the water sector. You will be hands on in continuing to establish APX10 in Germany and drive commercial activities, build client relationships, and ensure that sales targets are met.
In this role you will become a primary force in driving and shaping APX10 in the German market, why you will directly influence everything from strategy to its immediate execution in the local market.
Your responsibility
Main responsibility is acquisition of new customers and support of existing customers
- Acquiring new clients through direct sales
- Execution of general sales activities, including CRM management
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships as well as engaging in dialogue with decision-makers
- Preparing tailored proposals
- Supporting the identification and approach to partners
- Creating sales and presentation materials (e.g., web content, presentations)
- Be a leading force in our German trade show participation, as well as in conferences, and industry events
- Identifying new business opportunities and revenue potential
Your Profile
- We are looking for a sales-driven personality with commitment and interest in software for the public sector market in Germany.
- Proven experience and measurable results in sales, ideally to the public sector
- Deep understanding of the German market dynamics, including cultural nuances and regulatory requirements
- High initiative, curious and analytical sales thinking
- Knowledge of software sales and insight in the SaaS business model is advantageous
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and enjoyment of customer contact
- Analytical thinking, structured working methods, and the ability to multitask
- Proficiency with CRM systems like HubSpot and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel approximately 60-90 days per year preferably within Germany but also internationally
