District Metering Areas

Getting insights on water consumption can often be an expensive and time-consuming process. By looking at District Metering Areas (DMAs) based on already existing flow meters and booster stations, the APX® platform analyzes the consumption and can help to identify potential leakages.

Key features:

  • Follow water consumption in individual sections of the network over time.
  • Identify potential leakage through abnormal consumption patterns.
  • Utilize existing flow meters and booster stations to gain new valuable insights in one platform.

The DMA analysis is based on detailed calculations on the daily volumes within the water distribution network. By looking at abnormalities in the consumption, new insights to potential leakages and non-revenue water (NRW) can be identified in selected time periods.
