Boosting shared insight and asset knowledge with APX®
In addition to the benefits seen during our initial data cleansing process, APX® has also created a strong basis for assessing reinvestment requirements and optimizing resource allocation.

Implementation of a unified data system drives significant organizational shift
Like many other utilities, Skive Vand (Water) faces organizational challenges, as most employees in the Project and Planning departments are newly appointed.
As an individual-driven organization lacking a common comprehension of its pipe network, its work procedures have been inefficient. Recognizing this, Skive Water´s staff realized the necessity of a system to enhance their shared understanding and knowledge of the utility’s data and assets. Consequently, they decided to implement a system that would consolidate and visualize their data, ultimately providing employees with a unified framework to operate.
We believed that the APX® software was the optimal choice for successful implementation and daily operational use. Our experience with the platform has validated this belief, and the implementation has resulted in an organizational shift from relying heavily on individual knowledge to being strongly organization-driven.

Skive Water enhances reinvestment strategy with APX®
Effective resource allocation and reinvestment strategies are imperative objectives for all utilities. Failure to take various parameters into account leads to discrepancies between planned investments and actual renovation needs.
For Skive Water, operating on the APX® platform has prompted discussions and reassessments of the utility’s reinvestment strategy. Ensuring that resources are allocated and utilized effectively has empowered the organization to act more strategically and achieve long-term economic benefits.
We were surprised to find that there is currently minimal need for large-scale renovations. By integrating multiple parameters such as condition and consequence, APX® has enabled us to reshape our reinvestment strategy and thereby optimize our resource utilization.
