We are pleased to announce that we have opened our first office in the United States and by so established a US company – APX10 Inc. The decision to join the The Global Water Center in Milwaukee was easy to make as we always want to work hands-on with our customers and partners. By opening our first US office we’re now getting much closer to the most promising water market for digital solutions, which has been a top priority since day one.
With the new US office in place, it is our goal to accelerate the digitalisation journey of US utilities and take asset management decision making to the next level. From today US utilities will have an easy and direct access to a serious and proven asset management software company with a software platform being used by several municipalities in the Nordics.
Ulrich Borup Hansen, CEO of APX10 says the following about the new office in the US:
”As a young and fast growing water specialized software company we are very proud to have come this far in our journey. That we can now open our first office in the US is a dream come true for the entire team. We expect a lot from the US market and for the same reason we are now making this significant investment in being present locally with our own setup. We know that that APX10 can make a positive difference in fast tracking water and wastewater utilities in North America become digital and data-driven in their decision making. And having our US base in a leading water hub is a great starting point to make this visible.”
There is a global need to work with data in a structured, operational and strategic way as utilities today are faced with an ageing infrastructure, changing demographics and retiring staff (knowledge). Digitisation happens at all levels of a utility why going data will play an even bigger role for utility companies worldwide. By making better use of existing data, utilities can gain a dynamic overview of their entire network. This also increases the likelihood of making timely and evidence-based decisions on future major reinvestments in the water and wastewater networks.
The Water Council are delighted to welcome the APX10 to the USA
The Water Council, Milwaukee, WI, is a and global hub dedicated to solving critical global water challenges by driving freshwater innovation and advancing water stewardship. Dean Amhaus, president & CEO of The Water Council has the following to say about APX10’s decision to open offices in The Global Water Center:
“We are absolutely thrilled that APX10 has selected Milwaukee as the location to establish their operations as they take their award-winning data analytics platform into the United States market. It is especially gratifying as APX10 won a Project Innovation Award at the recent International Water Association’s World Water Congress & Exhibition.”
The data|APX® software platform from APX10 aggregates all existing utility data from the supply network into a user-friendly overview, and is a modern digital analytics tool with multiple decision parameters designed to support utility staff across multiple departments. For the very same reasons we look forward to bringing the data|APX® platform to the United States.
